The Plus - Community Fund

The Carbon Farmer Inc. knows the importance of a healthy society and we are doing our part to ensure the environment and communities we all share get the support they need. That is why for every Carbon Plus Credit sold, The Carbon Farmer Inc. will be giving a dollar back to our community. 

Without the support of our neighbours, both near and far, our dream of establishing The Carbon Farmer Inc. would not have been possible. Giving back and being active participants in our community is the least we can do to say thank you and ensure other individuals and groups get the same opportunities we have had. After all, where would we be without our community and our environment?

We are in the process of establishing community partners that we can support through our Community Fund. The fund will grow and flourish along with our business and the trees we plant. The causes we support will be consistent with the social and environmental consciousness our Carbon Plus Credits represent. Some community initiatives we are considering include a scholarship foundation for environmental studies, donations to parks and protected areas and funding to multi-stakeholder efforts looking to balance social and environmental stewardship with economic sustainability. As we establish our community partners they will be listed here so each of Our Offsetters will be able to see what other community initiatives they have supported by purchasing our Carbon Plus Credits.
